Best preserved Meteor Crater!

You must experience the impact 30 minutes east of Flagstaff, Arizona! It is located in Northern Arizona.

It is the best preserved meteorite impact site on Earth!

The crater was formed almost 50,000 years ago! The meteor was racing through space at approximately 26,000 miles per hour before striking the Earth with a greater force of 20,000,000 tons of TNT.

The meteor crater is nearly a mile across and more than 550 feet deep. This equivalents to the height of a 60 story building. The terrain of the crater resembles that of the moon. NASA has made it an official training site for the Apolo mission astronauts!

After doing the meteor crater tour, check out the interactive discovery center. It contains several thrilling interactive displays and exhibits for you and your children. It is very extensive and informative. You will relive the intensity of the impact!

I highly recommended the new 4D Space Adventure for you and your little ones! You’ll join Commander Perseus and First Officer Jackie on an epic space flight adventure!
